We have a rather dazzling season ahead of us full of performances across a fantastic spectrum of genres and inspiration!
We open the season on Sunday, September 21, 2025 with the acclaimed Skydiggers! The band is touring Dreams & Second Chances, a new album full of their signature acoustic guitar and harmony-guided sound, along with space for roots, rock, r&b, and country – a veritable smorgasbord of sound paired with wise, evocative lyrics. This promises to be a thrilling, season-opening show!
On Wednesday, November 12, 2025 the remarkable group Black Umfolosi will grace our stage. Established over 40 years ago in Zimbabwe, Black Umfolosi blends a cappella singing with traditional dance, costume, and percussion. A highlight of their performance is their rendition of gumboot dancing, which evolved in the mining camps of the African continent. This show may well inspire you to shake a leg!
We’re excited to bring the virtuosic Montréal Guitar Trio to town for a heart-warming winter show on Friday, December 12, 2025. Montréal Guitar Trio has curated a program celebrating Christmas in their own unique way, from The Nutcracker (Tchaikovsky), to The Nightmare Before Christmas (Danny Elfman), to A Charlie Brown Christmas (Vince Guaraldi), and more!
Dance is back this season! We’re pleased to bring choreographer Audrey Gaussiran’s MOSAÏCO to warm you up on Friday, January 23, 2026. This thrilling show explores the multiplicity of cultural identities through the fusion of contemporary dance and digital art. Five dancers from diverse backgrounds perform gestural choreography that influences digital art, which then projects across their bodies and the background in a beautiful melange.
We are truly honoured to present Diyet & The Love Soldiers on Thursday, March 5, 2026. This band from the Yukon brings a blend of alternative country, folk, roots and traditional with catchy melodies and stories deeply rooted in Diyet’s Indigenous world view and northern life. Inspired by vast landscapes, clashing and embracing realities, her heartfelt lyrics paint a picture of wildness, truth, hope, reconciliation, and history.
To conclude our 2025-26 season on Saturday, April 25, 2026 we couldn’t think of a better group than Oktopus to fill the theatre full of passionate performance, laced with humour and storytelling. Oktopus specializes in melancholic tunes followed by unbridled celebrations with arrangements and interpretation deeply rooted in klezmer tradition. They also include works by Brahms, Kodály, and Mahler, songs from Quebec, and jazz improvisation.
